Massage oils are wonderful for couples looking to spruce up their love life. And, even though many massage oils are fairly cheap, why not make your own massage oils at home? When you make your own massage oils, you can add the scents you want. All you need to get started are:
- Jar/container (something you can seal and keep the oil in)
- Base oil
- Essential oil
1 – Pick a base oil. You’ll need this before you include any kind of essential oil.
2 – Pick the essential oil – You never want to apply these oils right on the skin until they’ve been diluted. Consider tree or lavender oils to go along with the base oil. You can also use a neutral or unscented oil.
3 – Mix the base oil and essential oil together. Begin with a few drops of the base and combine it with several drops of the essential oil until you’re satisfied with the quantity.
4 – Keep the rest of the oil in a sealed container, perhaps one with a dropper. Whatever you do though, be sure that container is shut and stays sealed so no air can seep in. If you don’t do this, the oil is going to evaporate.
- If you want a relaxation massage oil, consider these oils: chamomile, jasmine, lavender, neroli, rosewood and sandalwood. The prices of each one will vary.
- If you want an energizing massage oil, consider these oils: citrus, mint or pine
- If you want a romantic massage oil (Adult sensual massage), consider these oils: geranium, jasmine, patchouli, ylang ylang
Keep in mind that each person reacts differently to oils. This is not a one-size fits all scenario.
Massage oil could use for sensual massage, body to body massage and tantric massage.
Note: Some *special massage needs massage gel, eg. Nuru gel is the key material for a genuine Japanese nuru massage.
